Graveney Road, Faversham

Centrum Pile were awarded the pile supply contract for a vibrant new housing development on Graveney Road in Faversham, comprising a collection of 1 and 2-bedroom apartments, and 2, 3, and 4-bedroom houses. All properties have garages, or allocated parking and all of the houses benefit from gardens.

Over a 9-week period, Centrum Pile delivered across 3 separate visits 858No. driven precast piles of 200mm and 250mm square section and between 5m – 16m in length. The piles were designed to cater for up to 525kN compressive working loads. Manufactured in a state-of-the-art facility, Centrum Pile’s products were tested and confirmed as structurally competent before delivery to site. The specialist piling contractor on site then carried out Dynamic Testing and CAPWAP analysis to verify the bearing capacity of the piles.

Centrum Pile also provided smaller length, jointed piles enabling the piling contractor on site to pile within less than 15m from the live rail.
