Arco Warehouse Extension, Hull

Arco, safety experts and manufacture of safety equipment, announced in 2018 the construction of a new extension to their current National Distribution Centre in Hull.

Partnering with Clugston Construction, the 220,000sq ft extension will double Arco’s current warehousing and logistics capacity, with the build being part of Arco’s £55m investment initiative to support its ambitious growth plans, with this new facility set for completion in summer 2019.

Centrum Pile supplied over 3,500 No. 250mm/350mm square precast piles for the project, which were driven to lengths of up to 21 metres. Centrum pile has the ability to manufacture piles from 200mm to 400mm square sections, and can be driven to depths as deep as 50 metres with the use of our A-joint and D-joint options.
